Guillaume Cochard-Lemoine, born in 1985 in Lyon.   I started music at the age of 3. For the 21 years that followed, I studied the cello at the Grenoble and the Paris Conservatoires then at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève.   Being extremely keen on playing a “harmonic” instrument as well, I went on to study the harpsichord in parallel.   As a cellist, I am engaged by several ensembles and perform all over as well as in Europe and America.   I have been composing since I was 10 years old and I have gradually learnt the art of computer-assisted music.   I therefore continue to follow with great interest the technological advances in that field.   Composing has always been part of my life. Thanks to the encouragements of my teachers, in particular David Chapuis who is a composer and a teacher of composition and harmony at theConservatoires Supérieurs de Musique of Geneva and Lyon, I decided to work on the composition of soundtracks.   Why soundtracks? Quite simply because I have always been composing with images and stories in my head… therefore… why not compose the soundtracks for your stories!
